Mirage

A dark spot trembles from afar, a blot,
Behind a thick veil of dust,
When you gaze at the spot,
You see her marching in the dust.

As she moves forward,
She can see a sea of water,
But when looking farther in the horizon,
It occurs to her that it’s just a delusion.
